Lutherwood’s 3 Ways of helping our Community

  • For over 50 years, Lutherwood has been providing mental health services to Waterloo Region and Wellington County. Today, Lutherwood provides a range of services to assist children, youth and their families coping with mental health challenges. We provide live-in treatment and assessment services, family crisis and prevention counselling, and community and school-based interventions. We also operate Safe Haven Youth Services and provide supervised access services for parents.

  • Lutherwood connects people with employers, training, funding and jobs. Our free services help individuals find and maintain their jobs, and employers recruit and train employees. Need a Job? We can help.

  • Lutherwood's housing services support you in your search to find permanent, safe and affordable housing. Whether you are a senior, a youth, new to Canada, part of a large family or a person who has never had a place to call home, we have a range of services to help you find and maintain housing including loans for rental deposits and arrears, service resolution, public education, training and information on housing.

Lutherwood Child & Family Foundation

Prior to March 2020, an estimated 26,000 children and youth in Waterloo Region struggled with mental health concerns. Many are experiencing extreme anxiety, difficulty sleeping, and persistent sadness stemming from changes in their routine and school; stressed out family members and isolation.

Your support helps to build a stronger, healthier community. Your generosity will let the youth of our Region — struggling with their mental health — know that they are not alone.
